If you read in the news recently, Indonesia, one of the biggest nickel ore producers will ban nickel ore sales starting in May 2012. You may be asking, what does this have to do with Nickel Asia (Stock Code NIKL)? NIKL will be the biggest beneficiary of this news since they are the top nickel producer here in the country and it is expected that those getting their nickel from Indonesia will just get it in the Philippines via Nickel Asia.
NIKL closed at P28.30 today, March 21, 2012 but this will surely go up in the next few months.
